Life today, at home and work, is often hectic and stressful. That makes it all the more important to take a break and switch off now and then. What better place for that than the Planitzer? - On our spacious sunny terrace with its panoramic views, in the shade of a protected natural monument in the form of a hundred-year-old horse chestnut tree, or in our snuggy wood-panelled farmhouse parlours? Whichever spot you choose, we make sure you feel at home!

 

Whatever the occasion – birthday, family party, company or club celebration – and whether you come by car or on foot, on your bicycle or even on your horse, you will always receive a warm welcome at the Planitzer.

A good place to eat

 

Regional, seasonal and without artificial flavour enhancers – those are not mere words; that is our deeply felt conviction. We serve what the local farmers produce: meat, dairy products, eggs, vegetables, fruit, wine and homemade fruit juices.

 

The menu always includes traditional country fare like our bacon or cheese dumplings, bacon and egg with hash browns, smoked bacon and sausage, local cheeses, Kaiserschmarn pancake and a choice of cakes.

 

For culinary variety – depending on the season – you can choose between pumpkin soup, nettle dumplings, between pot-roasted or spare ribs , goulash with polenta, sauerkraut with bacon dumplings, sausage and smoked pork.

What would food be without drink? We are happy to serve you wine from our cellar to go with your meal. The choice is between Schiava, Pinot Noir, Gewürztraminer and Sauvignon. Or perhaps you would prefer a homemade juice like apple, elderberry flower, peppermint, lemon balm or currant juice?
