This idyllic hamlet in the community of Montan at the foot of the Trudner Horn Nature Park is just ten minutes by car from the Neumarkt-Auer-Tramin exit of the A22 Brenner Motorway.

 

There is plenty to see and do in Glen and its surroundings. The line of the old Fleims Valley Railway from Auer to Cavalese with the Glen Viaduct, the famous Gothic winged altar by Hans Klocker in St. Stephen’s Church in Pinzon, the waterfall in the gorge of the Truden, the Pinzoner and Glener Egger natural monument, and the many vineyards make the Planitzer the perfect place for a day out for the whole family. Those who prefer to relax and enjoy the sun will appreciate the spacious terrace with its panoramic views, from Salurner Klause and the South Tyrolean Unterland to Lake Kaltern and the mountains of Meran.
